Beeston RC & Beeston CC Time Trial League

Welcome to the homepage of Beeston RC and Beeston CC's 10 mile Time Trial event. Following the 2009 season the two cycling clubs of Beeston decided to join forces and create one evening TT for the summer months, as before with Beeston RC's TT evenings anyone is welcome to join us.

The Clubs Beeston Road Club  Website The club was founded in 1945 when a group of cyclists met on Wollaton Park on V.E. Day.  They had arranged to meet for a ride and formed the Beeston Touring Club, later to become Beeston Road Club.  The club has regular Sunday runs as well as chaingang's during the week.                                                                          Beeston Cycling Club Website The club was founded in 2009 when a group of riders who had trained together for a charity ride from Beeston to Paris decided that they needed a family based cycling club.  The ethos of the club is firmly based on giving members support to arrange what suits them.  Members use a 'blog' to arrange ad-hoc rides.

The Course   The 10 mile course starts at the top of the first hill on Dark Lane.  At the end of the 2nd lap riders will finish by passing the Star pub on the left and continuing along Brickyard Lane to the finish line. This will make the circuit an actual 10 mile circuit.  See circuit map
